The Association was formed in 1884 with the original Constitution formulated at that time requiring a Membership Fee of 5 shillings. The Constitution was revised in 1990. We are a very friendly Association affiliated to The British Beekeepers Association with over 350 members. ​Many of our members attend Group meetings either in Nottingham or Newark. We aim to promote good beekeeping and to support our members in their bee related endeavours.
